Clients Needs

The client, a nature-loving family, sought a modern log cabin that could serve as both a peaceful retreat and an immersive experience in the Big Bear mountains. They needed a space that provided comfort and functionality while maintaining a strong connection to the surrounding wilderness. Their priority was a home that allowed them to unwind and recharge, featuring large windows to capture panoramic views and natural light. Sustainability was essential, with a preference for eco-friendly materials and energy-efficient solutions that minimized their environmental footprint.

Beyond their needs, they wanted a cabin that felt both luxurious and cozy, blending contemporary design with rustic charm. An outdoor jacuzzi was a must-have, offering a place to relax under the stars, while a sun room was envisioned as a serene space for morning coffee and evening stargazing. They desired a minimal yet inviting interior with warm, earthy tones that complemented the natural surroundings. The design needed to balance modern aesthetics with practicality, ensuring a seamless flow between indoor and outdoor spaces, creating the ultimate mountain sanctuary for their family to enjoy year-round.
